Application
Admissions to Sterling Montessori Academy and Charter School starts with an application which can be downloaded from our website and mailed to the address on the application. Click
here to download an application. Applications are also available year round at the Administrative office of the school.
If you have questions regarding our 3 year old through 4 year old program, please call the school at (919) 462-8889. There is a fee for 3 and 4 year olds.
If you have questions regarding kindergarten through 8th grade, please call and ask to speak to one of the administrators. There is no fee for the charter program.
Admission to either the Academy or Charter is based on having an available space in one of the classrooms. If we have more applications than available space, State Law directs us to conduct a lottery. All families submitting an application will receive a notification by mail regarding their status.
Applications can be mailed to us at any time. The determination of available seats is done in March for the next school year. If a lottery is necessary, it is done in late March or early April.
There is no enrollment quota by race or national origin. The Montessori philosophy supports cultural diversity. We are proud of the diversity in our school, which reflects the Triangle community.
