The Office of Charter Schools (OCS) and Wake County continue to guide all schools to offer support, resources and review for distance learning. We will begin this week with all teachers scheduling individual contact with kindergarten through 8th grade students and/or parents. Teachers want to know how they can support and offer suggestions for the week. Beginning April 6th teachers will send out work plans for continued learning growth for all students.
EOG/EOC Testing Excused
The state received a waiver which excuses students from having to complete EOG/EOC/alternate assessments for the 2019-2020 school year. This means that even if students do return in May to school there will be no EOG/EOC testing this school year.
We will continue to show our school spirit. Pictures can be posted in the comments section on the Sterling Facebook page each day.
